VerdictThe Samsung Galaxy S III pretty much aces every feature on the checklist, and has more to offer. It has a slightly larger screen, support for USB OTG, expandable storage and a larger battery.

HTC One X

HTC's One X boasts a camera that can shoot HD video and stills at the same time. Based on a 1.5 GHz Tegra 3 chipset, the One X was launched in India last month at Rs. 36,000.

HTC's flagship phone offers the largest canvas for its extensively customized Sense UI, which features a customized lock screen, expose-like functionality, plenty of options on the widgets and home screens front. It's also one of their best camera phones to date. 

VerdictIf you're a gamer, you're likely to have a preference for the One X's Nvidia's Tegra 3 ecosystem which stretches to a gaming app store of its own. Lack of a user-accessible battery, microSD card slot and USB OTG makes it less versatile than its chief competitor.
